I think this is a great Interview from last night with Andrew Napolitano on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Among other topics, Ron Paul comes up, and Mr. Napolitano makes the distinction that there is really just ONE political party in this country, with just different visions of what BIG government should be, that is, the GOP ‘aint what it used to be! He got me thinking that Ron Paul might be the only candidate in the Republican field that I would vote for over Obama. I guess I am not alone seeing that something like 47% of adults < 25 voted for him in NH. Time to wake up GOP!
I agree @neiltyson totally! Teaching Science literacy is more important that just being able to reciting facts.
Scientific literacy is a part of understanding how to approach problems, deal with conflict, and hey, while I’m at it… approach life!

This, like most commentary from talking heads, is a diatribe to get ratings and spark emotions. To make people angry and to make people emotionally attached to whatever this dufus is talking at the moment. And this is only 1% of whats wrong with our current social, political, and economical situation. (see what I did there?)
OK. Do *really* think Bloomberg suppressed #OWS by cleaning up Z. Park? Can i Pitch my tent in a park and live there for months?
Oh I’m sorry, Bloomberg was pretty nasty by evicting them in the middle of the night to MINIMIZE the confrontations created by restoring order to an area of NYC that has been without it.
Let me leave all my books all over the street, and get pissed off when the police clean up after my dirt, filth, and oh yeah, private possessions.

Two points on Bloomberg the man. He is looking out for what is right in NYC, as he was elected to do. Films are made here to increase city revenue, tourism, and good will towards the city. His philanthropic endeavors around the world should not be called into question when he also strives to use his wealth to better the city of New York.
Keith here got his history right, but unfortunately the connections to #OWS seem to be all muddled in personal bias and a menagerie of hate and bitterness.
