So this is what Mitt Romney said yesterday:

“Freedom requires religion, just as religion requires freedom. Freedom opens the windows of the soul so that man can discover his most profound beliefs and commune with God. Freedom and religion endure together, or perish alone.”

Is he crazy?  Are we really living in an “enlightened” socieety where this type of statement is uttered by a presidential candidate???  That’s the President of the United States, POTUS, the Commander in Chief we’re talking about…  I am speechless.
