Uncertain Principles: The Missing Word →
I think this post speaks to the hypocritical way in which the T-word, “Terrorist”, gets thrown around. A lot of the “bad” things that are done in this country can be thought of as an act of terror yet it is not treated as such. I am currently in sunny Rochester NY (read:cloudy) at the OSA annual meeting. I met some interesting people today, some new, some old. Kiko Galvez (Colgate), Miles Padgett (Glasgow), Rubinstein-Dunlop (Brisbane, Australia), and more.
Tomorrow there are some interesting talks on different aspects of polarization and then I have my poster session… aaaannnddd then back on the road, NYC...
